Do you like the way CGI has been used in movies within the last 15 years?

Why or why not?

I've heard some complain that some films linger on CGI shots too long and this takes you out of the movie by reminding you that the image is fake, thus breaking the suspension of disbelief.

Others say that even though a lingering shot may remind you of this, they still like the way that it looks so it enhances the movie even though the special effect is calling attention to itself.

What is your opinion of how CGI effects should be used?

Do you think they should be subtle so as to not take you out of the movie or do you prefer a movie that showcases what modern technology can do?
