On what kind of situations do you take photos?

Could you tell me one of your happy experiences of taking photos?
 
I just bought a nikon coolpix and am figuring out how to use it as im old school. I recently took a trip and got the disposable cameras. Junk - unless the natural light is perfect - you're not going to get good photos.

I've always loved taking pictures, although am just now getting back into it.
 
i always take photos, where ever i go. The only problem with this though, you have to watch what your taking pics of, well i was at the swimming bars with my neice before, her 1st ever time in the pool, and my brother wanted me to film her and take pics because its something for the memory book, but they stopped my brother doing that because we are not allowed to take pics or anything. I see their point though, but it was gutting for my brother and he was dissapointed what the society has become.

Well one of my happy experiences, was taking pics at wembley stadium, london, cause i went there for the day, watch cardiff city, and all my family was there and my gf and it was nice to take pics and remember the occasion.
