A Blessed Gift
You have your father's eyes
More mysterious than the skies.
With the beauty of a budding rose
You took your mother's button nose.
As I hold you in my arms
I notice your many charms.
As you drift off to sleep
I can't help but to weep.
You are so precious to touch
God knows I love you so much.
I pray for you growing up in a world so wild
Because you're a blessing- you are my grandchild.
