I passed the apprentice test, and I was hired, and will be starting soon. It's with the union. The starting salary is $17.00 an hour. It goes up to $36.00 an hour after the apprenticeship is over. It sounds like good money, but is it? Does it all get eaten by dues and taxes? Is there enough jobs out there to keep you working, or are you off alot? Any input you have will be greatly appreciated.
