Do you let your toddler/pre-schooler play unsupervised?

I don't mean all day every day. I posted on here awhile ago that I was letting my 3 year old and 20 month old play in the back yard by themselves. It's completely child proofed, has a 6 foot privacy fence that's childproofed, and I was watching them out of the window. I got blasted saying I was a horrible lazy mom.

I just feel like I shouldn't hover over them every second of the day. They need some time just to play and interact with each other. I will sometimes leave them downstairs while I run upstairs to put clothes away. I will sometimes let them play in their rooms while I'm cleaning bathrooms. I don't think there's anything wrong with that, but I guess some parents do? Right now they are playing outside.... I'm in front of the french doors watching them.... really, is that so wrong?

Am I a bad mom?

PS: I'm with them, in the same 15 foot radius 23 hours and 45 minutes a day! They can't have 15 minutes or so by themselves? :(
