Do you let toddler (three and under) watch television?

Every day I see the age at which parents introduce television to their children getting younger and younger. Experts discourage the exposure of very young children to television (under the age of three)--but it still happens. While, it does not really surprise me that parents would still allow their children to watch television---it does shock me that I seem to be the only parent who doesn't. Is there more of you out there? Am I alone?
Edit: It has nothing to do with "satan" or my religious beliefs, but thanks for the advice.

My son had 3 daughters (ages 11 and twins at 13) and they are still only allowed 1-hour of TV a day (even in the summer when there's no school)..... they have too many other things to do - including chores and being outside in the fresh air.

A lot of shows have some really good lessons on them.

Yo Gabba Gabba is one of my favorites. It helps to teach your kids manners and being a good friend.

My daughter is putting 3 words together into sentences and is only 20 months. I give a little credit to tv because shes learning language... they act out what they are trying to say... and it clicks in her little brain- oh thats a heart! Thats the color pink!

Im not saying she should watch tv all day long. But a few good quality FUN shows is good for social development.

Its your choice as a parent to not ALLOW them to watch tv until a certain age...

but their brains are growing and absorbing before that age... and in my opinion if you can make learning fun and help them absorb that knowledge... then your gonna have a smarter kid. Rather then making them play with lint on the floor... HOW STIMULATING!!
