Many years ago as a kid(12 years old) I watched a film made, I think in the sixties. a soldier is trying to get out of wartime Germany,to France. He goes through all sorts of trials and tribulations, near captures etc and finally he sneaks onto a train with the sign (i think)"Paris". He looks to have made it and as we all feel great watching him finally escape, a train guard changes the sign to (i think)"Berlin" and we see him oblivious to this fact as the film finishes.
