K kelly_f_1999 Guest Jul 5, 2008 #2 no it should just un bolt nothing to it.. leave it loose close the hood slow and watch when the lock and hook hits to line it up then tighten it up not hard maybe ten minute works.. and 100 bucks bet you could find it in a junk yard for 25 buck
