Do you know any literature where a character discusses the morality of something?

I need to write a paper on the play Copenhagen. I am writing on the question Heisenberg poses. "Does one as a physicist have the moral right to work on the practical exploitation of atomic energy?" I'm trying to find sources where a similar question is posed either to the audience or another character. Anything would be beneficial. Thank you for your time.

I'd go with Frankenstein by Mary Shelley, which centers on the artificial creation of life through science. It seems like it would compliment your example well.
