My boyfriend and I can't agree on two things (don't worry no ones getting angry... much) We're watching reture of the Jedi and he told me that Bobbafette doesn't really die. I said when does that come up in the movie? and he said it isn't in the movie but a "friend" told him that one of the novels portrayed the character escaping the bid snad trap monster thing.
Anyway I told him that that wasn't part of george lucas' vision. and he said that George Lucas' idea went beyond the plot shown in the movies and the ideas were what influenced the novles.
So here are two questions:
one: Did the books come out before or after the first movie?
and two: were the books at all related to George Lucas' vision or were they all independent novels written around the basic idea of star wars?
