Do you know a non-fictional book about boot camp or jail or anything related?

for english my teacher wants us to read 2 books
about the same topic just one is fictional and one is not.
I read a book called "boot camp" as my fictional book
now.. i just need a book about something along that topic
that is non- fictional

Try "Holes." I'm not sure if that's real or not but someone told me it was...
