Do you keep the dust jackets on your hardcovers?

I don't know why, but they just get on my nerves. With the exception of my favorite books I usually just toss them out. What about you?

I always take them off until I'm finished reading. I hate how they stick to your palms.

I leave them on because the other cover is usually ugly. But I agree that they are kind of annoying. They always tend to fall off and stuff. I know a lot of people who just take them off. I might start doing that now and anyways they didn't protect much, I mean if your not careless it should be the same as it would have been with the cover on it. Hope this helps

I always keep them, but I usually 'doctor' them. Laminate them and tape the up all nice and neat so they aren't constantly falling off. And yes... I have been accused of being OCD about it... but in my defense... I used to work in a library!
