...just pack the holes w/dirt? Or is that a bad idea? We just did the whole fence w/no concrete, just packed the holes with dirt. However, when I was looking up how to build garden arbors, all of the plans include setting the posts in concrete. Is this just to make it extra sturdy, or is it required due to the structure? Any help is appreciated, thanks.
I should add that this arbor will be attached to the fence on both sides and will have a gate as well. ty
