AP US History Class? I want to get the college credit for US History so I am in APUSH class. I feel like I could pass the AP test without taking the class, and just studying off a Princeton, REA, or another prep book like that. So instead of taking the APUSH class, I would take Honors US History, and take the APUSH test when the AP kids take it. Could I do this?

Of course you can.

If you have your AP booklet that they give you at the tests,
you'll see it listed somewhere in the book.

They just recommend you to take the test after the class, but you don't have to do it.
