I'm thinking about moving to Idaho (Boise area) and am wondering what all is taxed there. I am currently living in a state that does not have a sales tax, so this is all new to me.
Do you pay sales tax on utilities? For example: Water/Sewer, Garbage, Electric, Phone Bill, etc.
What is the current sales tax rate?
Is there a different rate for different ''categories'' of things? (food v.s. clothes or other items)
