Do you have to pay every month for an app on Blackberry you just bought?

I'm very new to smart-phones I was wondering if there is a monthly fee on apps. Like once I download it do I have to pay $4 or whatever amount every month extra right after I install it? I'm so confused about buying apps. If I uninstall an app really quick like if I didn't like it would I still be charged for it?
