Do you HAVE to have a high school diploma to get into art school?

My boyfriend is amazing at art and it's one of his favorite things to do and I really think he could make a living from it. But he doesn't have a high school diploma or a GED. Does he have to have one of these to get into a art school and help him go farther into a art career?
 
how about you tell him to get off his lazy ass for seven hours and take a goddamn test
 
Yes. Most respected art schools require a well rounded background...meaning a high school diploma. I have a friend who is an AMAZING artist, but had to postpone art school because her low grades kept her from being accepted.
 
um yes im pretty sure he needs either or cause in order to register from school you need your official transcript.
