do you have to get blood tests to be on all antibiotics?

i was on tetracycline a few years ago and i had to get my blood tested every 2 months.. it was WAY too expensive to keep up that routine.

I've been thinking about trying to get back on it, or one if its cousin antbiotics like mono or docy, mainly for my chest/back.

Will the derm make you get blood tests if you go on any of these antibiotics?

i've tried tons of things for chest/back but nothing is working and i'm at the end of the line here..

i know antibiotics can be bad for you in the long run.. is there a limit as to how long you can take these?
 
I went to a derm last yr she put me on doxy 100 once a day.Did no blood tests,just asked if i was allergic to anything.Take care.:wave:
