what if "someone" just likes to wear pink and play dress up with their mothers heels and speak with a "queer" accent...they still like the opposite sex but love the gay culture. would i...i mean they still be considered gay?
 
There are plenty of straight cross dressers who would never actually take part in gay sex.
 
Yes, you have to be attracted to the same sex to be gay. What you are describing sounds most akin to cross dressing. Most transvestites are heterosexual in orientation.
