...temporary closure? it is reported 'food poisoning'. Although I heard it could be a virus.
My friend dined there 2 weeks ago as a belated xmas present.& she is fine so is her sister.
 
The fat duck finally succumbed to artery blockage and heart failure. But fear not because a leaner meaner replacement is on the way.
 
I heard it was some sort of bacteria, so that lends credence to the "food poisoning" theory. Over 400 people now...
 
Well I don't know about the 'Fat Duck' but a local restaurant near us closed down suddenly, due to a fall out with the landlord. It has not been reported yet but my suspicion is that they didn't pay the rent due to lack of customers or something more serious.
A solicitors letter is taped to the restaurant door forbidding the owners to enter the premises, work that one out.
