this doesn't represent the majority but im sure it explains the rationale for a lot of people.

i have a cousin that's a textbook example of a fuck up but he got his stuff together. basically he was one of those 'didn't listen to mom or dad, didn't go to school a lot, did drugs, didn't finish high school, blah blah etc' types of kids growing up. eventually he cleaned up and now he has this self righteous attitude towards everyone because he thinks hes some sort of respectable, looked up to whatever the fuck he thinks he is. basically some people were fuck ups' got their shit together and try to look down on other people for it.

im unemployed i dont really get that judgement though because im still in school and when im not doing school stuff i keep myself occupied with acceptable activities its still annoying though

I have a bachelor's in art history I completed 2 years ago,
I never intended to work in the field so it's not like I'm having trouble finding a job "in my field."
I stopped working around that time also, and it seems that everyone tries to ask
"So what do you do?" And then they'll try to give lectures and pep talks or, they'll judge or talk about you behind your back (or to your face.)?
What's the deal?
Aren't people allowed to be unemployed at some point of their lives and NOT be looked down upon?! Isn't there "more to life" than this?
