Do you hate gamestop forcing the display copy at you?

I never understood why Gamestop must sell me the display copy as new. For one thing, it looks lousy as a gift. Those stickers are impossible to remove and if you do remove them they make the case look crappy. or the goo melts to the other games. Sometimes the case is all dirty and feels worn out. And I ask myself why paid good money for a new game and get one that's all gritty?

I mean when you buy new dvds or blu rays, you expect them shrink wrap no? I expect my games the same way. Sometimes I don't pay attention and get the display with more stickers added on.

One time they sold me a new game but the case was cracked to the point it did not close. How can this be considered new?

And sometimes I notice a scratch on their so called open but still new games. And they don't gut one game, they gut the last 10-15 copies. WTF? Say it's new, but I cannot remove all those stickers and someone left an oily finger print on the inside booklet.

If i say no they give me attitude for not taking it.

Seriously, why bother gutting games? Why can't they put all the games under key and put dummy ones on the walls? You know, like those boxes they put on the wall before the game comes out.
