Do you guys think in all honesty that GM,FORD, and Chrysler will get the Bailout? ?

I was just trying to see everyone's opinion about it. I think they should not get it because they have had this problem for over 25 years and just realizing it today that they need to change how they manufacture their Vehicles. Toyota,Honda, and other overseas company's are way ahead of their times. What do you guys think?
 
Absolutely. They may have already been in financial trouble, but too many people are dependent upon them. The government cannot afford to pay unemployement to all of the people that would be out of work. It is simply a choice of the lesser of two evils. Give 25B in "loans" that will most likely be forgiven, or shell out that amount or more in gov checks. The big three will tell congress that they will put more of an effort into green technology and they will recieve their 25B.
 
They will get a bailout most like in a pre-packaged bankruptcy deal.

As far as what I think. If it is in a bankruptcy type deal, I am fine with it because the credit markets currently are frozen and it would not be right for them to file chapter 7 needlessly... Meaning, if they are a viable company, they should survive...
