right our pizzas late and me and my sis were arguing about it because its 1 hour late & i said if we lived in america it would be free by now
and my sis said it was only in movies and then we got in a fight about it so do you get it free?

maybe 10 years ago or more Domino's had that policy. Too many people cheated the system and they stopped it.

Just to clarify some of the answers here - there is no law in America that regulates the timeliness of pizza delivery. When people are referring to "policy" they are referring to the individual restaurants policy. It is a sales gimmick, not a law. As stated, several large pizza delivery services including Domino's used to have a "30 minutes or its free" guarantee. But deu to bad publicity from accidents arising from drivers rushing to meet the deadline, that restaurant no longer has that policy. However, some smaller delivery services may still use a similar policy. It isn't always 30 minutes, they may use some other time.

No I've lived in America my whole life and I've never gotten a pizza free because it was late.

No. Sadly nothing is free in the USA. If something is free, then its usually pretty crappy!

used to have policies where if it was late it was free, but as stated earlier it did cause some wrecks from people in a hurry to get the pizza there on time. so no free pizza just cuz it takes longer than 30 minutes or so, but if its like an hour and a half you can probably bitch your way into a free pizza hehe

No.

Domino's had that policy in the past but it created a hazard on the roads from over-zealous delivery drivers.

haha i wish... my pizza is always late and if you call and complain then they might give you your next one free or at a discount.
