accident, war etc and ? They don't specify that a much larger number of foreigners or adults ALSO died tragically.

I don't feel upset, i feel enraged that blood has been spilt because of Other People's misdeeds.

Ignorance is the root of evil.

just like politicians who use children as a powerful persuasive tool (i'm thinking no child left behind and hillary's health care reforms) the word children evokes a deeper sense of guilt in people. it's easier to push an agenda when it's, you know, for the children.

Well usually when an American news source is telling the story, they like to specify how many of our citizens lost their lives. I'm sure when a plane crashes in america and it's reported by a German tabloid the headline says x number of germans killed.

I traveled all through Europe (Two years) and I found that every country does the same thing. Of course it's only wrong when America does it. The problem is the most of Europe gets American news channels (the first time I ever saw Fox news, I was in France) So I understand why they feel the way they do, but if you go to England, you'll find they care more about English deaths then any others.
