Do you get tired of the news going on and on about the same story?

Over and over and over about the same subject. In western Oregon, if we have an inch or two of snow, they make it seem like a major event. The last few days, they are repeating the same news over and over about a singer. Do you get so tired of it that you turn off?
 
Yes I do. I just keep it on long enough to hear the first couple of stories and if I've heard them before, I switch them off. I figure if something's going on I need to know about, someone in the family will call.
