Do you get recoil from paintball guns?

a paintball gun is not strictly speaking a gun, its usually a device that has a gas cartridge that forces out a pellet that has some type of ooze that is coloured, there may be some knock but i doubt it has a technical recoil.

a bullet or ballistic weapon has a recoil in that a handgun the slide is pushed back a great speed to eject the spent case and reset the trigger system and load an fresh bullet into the breech. that system uses spent gasses from the properties of detonation of the propellant or gunpowder.

a machine gun or cyclic weapon has that system in that the bullet is the mass to be sent as a projectile the gasses that are produced are used to force a piston or push rod to engage the bolt and to reset the weapon if it is set for repetition fire or automatically keep loading if it is set for automatic.

i think that your boy friend sees you as a girly and not able to play with boys toys, i hope you shoot him!
 
I've never been paintballing and I really want to but my boyfriend says it'll probably make my cry (lol, I can be a bit of a wimp). Aside from the obvious pain of being hit with paintball bullets, do the guns do that recoil thing that real guns do? And does it hurt/bruise?
 
There's no recoil worth mentioning but the paintballs do sting a fair bit when they hit you. You'll end the day with a few bruises probably. Unless you wear thick padding but then you'll get far too hot.
 
The amount of recoil from a paintball gun is negligible to the point of saying for all practical purposes there is none.

Geting hit can startle and momentarily sting but you'll be ok and in any case you're going to be too skillful and stealthy to get hit, aren't you? ;o)
 
you get very minimal recoil, but it's that minimal, you hardly notice. I mean, its not as if you're firing an Enfield 303
 
some guns u get a slight recoil but nothing more and yes the paintballs can bruise u, they fecking sting ;-)
