Do you find that people who major in psychology end up weird?

For some reason, I've always noticed this.

Whenever someone majors in psychology or studies it like a ritual, they're always the ones who are really weird and socially out of touch with reality in the first place or end up that way. Their kids usually end up pretty messed up, too.

For example, I have this neighbor who's majoring in psychology to be a psychologist, however, she lets her kids run around the neighborhood naked and she always argues with her husbands with loud words, etc. I realize that she's human and everything but at the same time it seems extremely contradicting when she reads this kind of stuff in textbooks and/or assignments and how it could effect her children.

I know some people may get mad at this question but I just want an honest answer. I'm taking Psychology 205 right now as a requirement. I find it interesting but my teacher is kind of eccentric and at often times weird. It depends on the person, yes, but a vast majority of people are in this category share the same traits, etc.

I just feel like the more you study about the human mind and body, the more you look into it and it eventually affects your overall being as a person with decisions and actions you face on a daily basis.

Thoughts?
