Do you feel that poetry is a sin?

"Come onto my lawn
where we will sample grasses."
Your smile shyly invites
I said I could not come
But I had lied. I was afraid
"My elegance is
also my napkin."
Which one is it today?

But you became sadly small
and disappeared
I planted a you seed
in this flower pot
and when
you grow again
I will set you free.

no, it is a way of expressing feelings. Remember Psalms and Song of Songs makes use of poetic expressions and song s and those kinda stuff. The only way it can be a sin if if your write of unGodly things in your poem

Was that the man or the woman dude? No matter. This poem isn't sinful. I like it.

Vogon poetry, the third worst in the Universe.

Oh freddled gruntbuggly,
Thy micturations are to me
As plurdled gabbleblotchits
On a lurgid bee
That mordiously hath bitled out
Its earted jurtles
Into a rancid festering [drowned out by moaning and screaming]
Now the jurpling slayjid agrocrustles
Are slurping hagrilly up the axlegrurts
And living glupules frart and slipulate
Like jowling meated liverslime
Groop, I implore thee, my foonting turlingdromes
And hooptiously drangle me
With crinkly bindlewurdles,
Or else I shall rend thee in the gobberwarts with my blurglecruncheon
See if I don't.
