...indigenous animals? even though it wont happen, if everyone was vegan/vegetarian the amount of land required to sustain the population would cause mass extinction/extirpation of the animals through disruption and destruction of the natural ecosystem. the other problem is ranchers of animals killing almost all the wolves and bears in the united states back in the 1800's, but if you had rules that forbade ranchers from killing the top predators in an ecosystem and the cattle were free range then there would be enough balance for bears and wolves and elk to reclaim more of there lost territory. if you ask me, ranchers need to keep buying land before crop farmers, strip malls, and vegan sushi shops take what's left. anyway, what do you as vegans/vegetarians think of habitat destruction and how to stop it and reverse the negative effects of our overbearing population explosion in america and the entire world?
