A friend of mine has said that she seriously regrets discussing issues she has had with her partner with a few of our friends because now that they are engaged, people seem to have the attitude she has 'settled for second best'.
She is really happy with her fiancee & is annoyed that because she discussed issues they had early on in the relationship, people took her 'biased moanings' at face value and now won't acknowledge she is very happy.
I don't know him well, but they seem fine to me, and I have to say it annoys me when other friends say to me 'yes but you don't know what he's like' true, but I do trust her judgement!
It has really made me think about involving friends in arguments and how it can backfire!
How do you feel about this?
