Do you drive a Toyota Matrix and have a Britax car seat?

We are looking at getting a convertible car seat, we tried the Truefit and are going to have to return it. My husband and I are both taller, 5'10'' & 6' respectively. With the Truefit I have to pull my seat up so far my knees are smooshed up against the dash.

I've heard that Britax Diplomat is good room-wise, but it only goes to 40lbs, I'm wondering if anyone who drives a Matrix owns a Britax Boulevard and what the fit is like...especially if you are on the taller side.

I don't have a car but I use Zipcar frequently and I own a Britax Marathon that I use in the Zipcars. One of the cars I have rented was a Matrix. I'm average height and I tend to push myself way up over the steering wheel and pedals, so it's never been a problem for me, but I think a large car seat like that would be a problem in that car if you needed to push the seat back.
