I am looking to buy a car for a reasonable price that is reliable and safe. Frankly, I am so sick of seeing Hondas and Toyotas everywhere (even though I KNOW they are probably the best cars out there). I cannot afford an SUV (nor do I want to pay for its gas). I have come across the Mercury Milan, and after doing some research, it seems to be pretty basic, but supposedly very safe and reliable. The one I'm looking at is a 2006 with 36k and FWD. If you drive one or know a lot about Milans, please tell me the truth- is it a good car? I used to have a Kia Rio and am honestly GLAD it was totalled in an Accident. Buying that car was the biggest mistake I've ever made. I dont want to make another bad decision when it comes to cars. Thanks!
