Defined probably as either a person who finds others guilty, like another word for a judge or prosecutor, or (and this seems like a huge stretch), someone who causes someone else to gain conviction.
To reiterate a little, would you actually feel comfortable using it in real life; whether in conversation, an essay or research paper, a book you were writing or anything else.
