Do you consider a Jeep a truck or a car?

I have a Jeep Grand Cherokee V8. I like to think of it as a truck, but recently some people have said its a car, or an suv. and some just call it a jeep.
 
i hate it when people call my jeep a truck haha its a jeep i dont call it a truck a car or an suv, jeeps are in a class of there own haha
 
I have noticed many people on the west coast would call a dog turd a car if it has wheels. The rest of the country makes finer distinctions. I would personally call a Grand Cherokee a SUV. I make that comparison to a Jeep Wrangler that is a descendant of the first mass produced Willys Jeep that the US Army classified as a 1/4 ton truck.
