Yesterday a jokey web site called Please Rob Me caught a lot of attention for "Listing all those empty homes out there" ready to be pillaged by burglars—pointing out the privacy and security implications of publicly broadcasting your location to the world.
Frankly, if burglars really wanted to hit your home, they'd have plenty of ways to tell if you're there short of using check-in apps, but consider the site a bit of performance art with a message. Either way, it got us wondering:
