...ambition to earn more money? Is the key tenet of ridding the US of the income tax essentially to have people be taxed based on a fixed percentage of what they spend rather than reciprocally what they earn?
I was reading a website that explained why ridding our economic system of the income tax will inspire many to earn more, but I'm a little reluctant to believe that. I can clearly find some reasoning in other arguments for its removal, but not so sure of this one.
What are your thoughts?
