Do you believe that each wound Christ received has a certain, attached meaning to it?

For instance, someone once told me the nails driven into His hands represented abasement for pride
I read from another source, that the scourging was endured for the sin of vanity.

I was wondering if perhaps, someone might be able to share their knowledge to some extent.
What do the crown of thorns represent?...or any of the other wounds?

For those who have no experience with underlying meanings woven throughout the life of each and every one of us, XP, what did you think of that movie "Law Abiding Citizen"?
 
I don't think so. Crucifixion was done to many men back then. It was a punishment for death penalty for many types of criminals.

I've been in Bible study groups for 6 yrs now and I haven't heard of this.
