In my opinion, both Labour and the Conservatives can stake a claim to be the party of incompetence when in power; e.g. the Tories with the poll tax which led to riots, and with the Black Wednesday fiasco, and Labour with the recession following Gordon Brown's "no more boom and bust" assertion and huge banking bailouts following encouragement of risk-taking in the city and poor banking regulation.
Who do you believe to be the party of greatest incompetence from their actual record when in power, and is that enough of a reason for you not to vote for them? In other words, you do believe that past incompetence is a guide to future incompetence?
