My theory is this.
The US financial system is in a depression. So how do you fix it?
First, lets look at the multi-billion dollar automotive industry, more specifically the history of sales numbers from Toyota Vs. GM. Lets face it, before all this happened Toyota ruled, and the money flowed to asian markets.
Now, to do this, lets just speculate, and say, that if one was so inclined, you could essentially find any Toyota, break into it, and modify it so that this event occurs where one cannot control the gas pedal, and they die, you are a car hacker of sorts. Thus creating several incidents, to which domino effects into the latest fiasco.
Now, there sales and stock is down, GM is up, and so is the US Economy.
Just a thought.
