Ok, there is a new private university in my city who is trying to get itself off the ground.. it has only been here about three years and few have heard about it.. I have attended one of their orientations and you can tell they are in need of students for their "cohorts" (I am looking at their MBA program).. they are like salesmen trying to take anyone they can get essentially.. I can tell by the looks of their current students that next to no one pays anything new their 'sticker price', which is steep.. this school competes with a public school who basically monopolizes the area and offers much lower tuition.. so do you essentially bargain with these private schools who need students for their cohorts on the tuition? Tell them you will go to the local state university if they dont take the price you will pay?
