GM is an American auto company, we can't let them fail.

If we decided to let these American companies fail, imagine how it would hurt our economy in the long run?
 
that GM will revive? few days back Obama administration said, that GM should get ready to file bankruptcy. But then later he says he is sending $2 billion more to GM. Why?

As it is GM is still making huge losses and there is no sign of any GM cars being sold. In fact it decided to pull the plug on pontiac too.
