Do you approve of the disposable soldier mentality the army has and what should

congress do? Things done by the Army to soldiers.

1.Used as test subjects for vaccines that often get blocked by the FDA.
2. Get denied medical treatment for conditions that later turn fatal.
3. Use threats and intimidation on soldiers who refuse reenlistment.
4. Discriminate against disabled veterans. "If he had better followed his training he may have not been shot 8 times." My old SMG!

Get a life dude. Quit complaining about stuff. You need to be mature enough to understand large bureaucracies and human nature (regarding your alleged threats to re-enlist). The context in which your SGM said those things is slightly important, no? Were you or someone else being a smarta** to him about something? Was he trying to reinforce the importance of following your training in combat? Are his words carrying the weight of official military policy in that instance? Clearly the answer to the last question is no. Try being optimistic about life and human beings in general and you might be amazed at the change it brings. Good luck.

Care to provide a source for those "facts"?

1. Complete lunacy.
2. I can get medical treatment for a freakin hang nail. They never deny anyone anything.
3. All I have ever asked my Soliers to do before getting out is to have a plan.
4. IF (big if) they are discriminated on it's by the VA, which is a Federal program not the Army.
