Do you all believe that the election for president, really matters?

I for one don't think it matters at all, it's just like back in highschool a popularity contest, when you wake up in the morning with mccain or obama as president will anything be different, most likely not. so what is all the fuss about?
how do u know gore wouldn't have gone to iraq? u can't know. and both mccain and obama said they wouldn't even consider withdrawl until 2015, so u can't use the war card.
