"true fan" 2 days ago? Kobe Bryant
28-46 FG, 18-20 FT, 7-10 3P = 81 points in 42 minutes
62 points in 3 quarters while the opposing team combined had only 61 with Dirk on the floor
Tied All Time record for most 3 point field goals in a game, but took one less shot than the other guy, giving him a better performance than Reggie or Ray Allen ever had for a game.
Makes the 60+ point games list 4 times, second only to Wilt "The Stilt, i take white boys to school in the 60's" Chamberlain
Averaged over 35 ppg for an entire season
Career 84% free throw shooter
Had 10 straight games of over 40 points
Has more than ten 50 point games
Became the first player since 1964 to have 4 consecutive games of over 45 points
Has put himself so far beyond active player, there is absolutely nothing to support that Lebron James is "better" than Kobe....other than the fact that he is currently putting up better numbers, yet still nothing compared to what Bryant has done. I dont even have to bring up the rings to win this argument.
The fact that hes putting up better numbers than a 32 year old who is going through injuries/slumps isnt enough convincing for a well informed fellow such as myself.
Try not to get angry, if you have some valid points that can blow mine out of the water, let me see them so i can make my final decision.
In my opinion the best players are the best shooters....maybe thats why i think Kobe is the best, because he is undeniably the best shooter we have seen, up until recently anyways. =/
