Jesus? Assuming that the Biblical account of Jesus' crucifixion is accurate.
Or do you think Jesus has been the martyr who has endured the most pain, suffering and sacrifice? If you feel this way, please explain your viewpoint further, as I find it hard to understand or accept. Especially since there are hundreds of people before and after Jesus' time that suffered through similar crucifixions, and thousands more that have suffered punishments far worse than crucifixion.
Why is Jesus' sacrifice so worthy of our admiration? What about those people who have sacrificed their lives and suffered for those they love or for an ethical principal and never received the same recognition for their selflessness?
