I know it's been a while since LOST ended, but I just have finished watching it and although I loved
the 1st 3 seasons,I didn't like the last 3 and specially the way the show ended.
about that whole "they're all dead" thing at the end,do you agree that they made that decision the last minute and the original decision was the popular theory of "alternate life"?
I say this b/c if you look at their lives in the supposed afterlife, some were having the exact life they were having in their 1st life(kate, charlie) and some were having a better life(Sawyer,Desmond,Jack).so it doesn't make any sense that some live the life they desired in the afterlife and some live the original life!
also remember that part where Ben's dad tells him:"I wonder what would have happened had we not left that island".see? this is obvious evidence in my opinion that this was an alternate life and not afterlife!
also in another part,Danielle Faraday tell Desmond:"maybe this was not the life we were supposed to have".
does it not seem to you that the whole "they're dead" thing doesn't make sense in this context?
what do you think? I personally think they changed the ending to add a shock element the last minute, which was not interesting at all.
