Do you agree that as soon as someone says "there is no evidence that...", they are...

...dodging and / or lying? You see these pin-headed scientists or lawyers who always say "there is no evidence that...(fill in the statement the person is denying)" and if you think about it, they aren't really denying it at all. They are not denying anything. They just try to be sly and deflect things back at you.

Example.
The pinhead says
"There is no evidence that this species of butterfly ever lived in this continent"

The pinhead is really saying this:
"I have never seen that butterfly around here, therefore it never lived in this continent because I am the expert and you can't question me"
or perhaps he's saying
"No expert has seen and recorded with a camera and verifiable written records that butterfly around here, therefore it never lived in this continent"
or maybe i will even grant you this
"No one has photographed that species of butterfly and showed me the photograph, therefore it has never lived on this continent."

In any case, the pinhead thinks that just because HE hasn't seen the evidence personally, he is implying that the statement is therefore false.
Can anyone be more pompous and vile?

true lad. what you're suggesting is true. but science works on observation rather than suggestion.

do you believe that we are visited by UFOs?
