do wolf spiders eat their own egg sack?

We have a pet wolf spider, she had 1 egg held it for around 3 weeks then discarded it and didnt want anything to do with it..then about a week or 2 later she laid another egg and then the next day i woke up and went to check on her and the egg had totally disapared no sign of it what so ever..i cant find anything online about it so yeah.. thx
