Myself and partner have always had a turbulent relationship and I moved out a few times. We have an 11 year old child and he owns the house. I moved back in April 09 and had been paying £100 a week towards costs (can prove this). It was a condition of moving back in that I was put on the deeds of the house. He didn't stick to this arrangement and it caused rows. He left the house in November 09 and said myself and our son can stay here til July 10 when we have to go. He threatened to get an order forcing us out in a month if we didn't go. Can he do this? I am paying all the bills except for the mortgage.
Do we have any rights to stay here until my son is 18? Hasn't my ex put himself in a difficult position by leaving his own home?
Basically I am not interested in financial gain here, just to occupy the home until our son is old enough to support himself and finished education. This is causing him a lot of stress and he's scared he will have to move schools etc.
